Wanda Davis

Funeral services for Wanda “Elvis Presley” Davis, 70, Clinton resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

She died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford.

Wanda Mae Davis was born July 11, 1945, the daughter of Chester Lee Davis and Goldie Mae (Moses) Davis in Redbird. She was raised and attended school in Porter.  

She moved to Clinton in 1964 and was married to Roy Victor Allison the same year. She has made Clinton her home since that time.    

She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She loved to sing and play the guitar. She often referred to herself as “Elvis Presley” and she knew most of his songs and some of his moves. She has been in various bands and played with the Washita County Boys Band. She enjoyed walking, visiting and spending time in the Wear it Again Shop.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Homer Lee Davis and Robert Davis.

She is survived by five sons, James Roy Allison and his wife, Maxine, Curtis Lee Allison and his wife, Kasey, Terry Wayne Allison and his wife, Mary, Elvis Ray Allison, all of Clinton, and Nicholas Ramon Gonzalez, of Pampa, Texas; her brother, Johnny Davis, of Pampa; her sister, Mary Louise Penn of Clinton; nine grandchildren, Ricky Woodward, Justin Clements, Christina Marsh and her husband, Jeremy, Christopher Landers, Chrystal Landers, Clayton Allison, Trenda Allison, Jerimiah James Allison and Curtis Scott Allison; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Jesse Musick.  Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
