Southwestern Oklahoma State University football saw its first major winning season in Div. II last year.
The Bulldogs made their first NCAA postseason appearance at the Live United Texarkana Bowl. The Bulldogs would lose to the University of Central Oklahoma 38-21. But, the program took a massive step forward going 8-4 in 2015.
The team plans on making a run at the playoffs. Senior starting safety Connor Bays said the squad is prepping more than usual.
