Coach Pugh steps into two-sided role

Head girl’s basketball coach Chad Pugh picked up another coaching job over the summer.
He became the boy’s basketball coach in addition to already coaching the girl’s team. This situation is not only unusual to most high schools but challenging as well. Nevertheless, Coach Pugh thinks the situation will unite the two programs to get the same level of success.
“I like the idea of being able to get all of our basketball players, 7th through 12th grade, basically on the same program,” Pugh said. “So, we are going to have a structure that is even so hopefully we can get everyone to buy into the same culture. I think being the lead at both programs, I think we can sustain some success.”
