Clinton freshman football continued its climb to varsity football with the start of two-a-days on Monday.
The freshman team has practiced with the varsity for the majority of the week. They aren’t in pads just yet. However, head coach Eugene Jefferson is confident in their abilities.
“I feel real good about this year’s crop of freshmen,” he said. “I think they’ve got some talent in the skill positions. The only thing that concerns me a little bit is that we are short on linemen. Other than that I feel good.”
