Thunder’s situation better than it looks after Durant departure

In case you have lived under a rock the last few weeks, Kevin Durant decided to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors.
I understand this still isn’t fun to hear Thunder fans, but the season will start and it will not feature KD. However, the roster isn’t in as bad of shape as people are making it out to be. Of course, this all depends if Russell Westbrook is with the Thunder for the 2016-2017 season.
First and foremost, Russell Westbrook can control the offense uninhibited. With KD, Westbrook couldn’t play his chaotic, high-scoring brand of basketball all the time. KD needed his shots and that’s what was best for the offense. Now, Westbrook is what’s best for the Thunder.
