Transfers key to Mayfield, OU passing game

Oklahoma football landed two vital transfers at the wide receiver position in the last two years.
In 2015, fans got to see one of them in action. DeDe Westbrook embarrassed Big 12 defenses in his first year wearing the crimson and cream. Westbrook caught 46 passes for 743 yards and four touchdowns. Westbrook became the Sooners’ deep threat averaging 16.2 yards per catch.
Westbrook is the only Sooner pass catcher returning with more than 28 catches. The next closest player was running back Joe Mixon at 28 receptions.
