Volleyball loses in home tourney semifinals

Clinton volleyball (6-8 overall) made it to the semifinals of their home tournament, Best of the West, but fell to local rival Corn Bible Academy (10-0 overall) in straight sets.
Head coach Joey Collins was highly complementary of her team. They managed to record a winning record in the tournament through a lineup change. Molly Koons moved to Libero, while Katy Eddy moved to outside hitter.
“I feel like they did pretty well on Friday, considering I completely changed their lineup on them Thursday,” she said. “They need to change what we are working on in practice. I’ve been telling the girls they needed to make changes on the court, because whatever they were doing wasn’t working. I took my own advice and changed their lineup for Friday.”
