Clinton High School volleyball began its preparation Monday to try and return to the state playoffs for the second consecutive year.
To do so, they are going to take their cues from new head coach Joey Collins. The team returns some of their players from the 25-5 squad last year. The Lady Reds had a memorable 2015 season. The Reds season ended to 4A’s best as they lost to eventual state champion Christian Heritage Academy.
Collins said the seniors have been the most impressive, showing leadership. They are trying to make sure the young players know when something isn’t right.
