Armed Suspect Pursuit

Law enforcement officials were chasing a possibly armed male suspect around 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the vicinity of the north end of the Foss Dam. A Custer County deputy sheriff originally stopped the suspect for suspicion of possession of a stolen travel trailer from Altus. A female subject was arrested at the time, but the armed man took off on foot into a deep canyon.
