NEW ALERT - FIRE UPDATE

At 3:45 p.m., firefighters report they are getting the upper hand of a grass fire on the west side of Clinton. Angelwood Assisted Living Center and DaVita Dialysis have been evacuated because of the fire and heavy smoke. At the current time there have been no structures involved in the fire. Officials ask that people stay out of the area so emergency vehicles can have quick access to the scene.
