Challenge facing cops called huge

“Cops, we have never needed you more than we need you now. We’re at war, and our cops are the front-line troops. The military cannot get involved on American soil.”
That was retired Army Lt. Col. David Grossman’s summation of the situation now facing U.S. lawmen, made Thursday morning to approximately 130 of them on the closing day of a nearly week-long Western Oklahoma Law Enforcement Summit held at Weatherford. Police Chief Louis Flowers said the turnout of 160 Thursday afternoon was even better.
Now residing in Arkansas, Grossman was the featured speaker at the event. His analysis of what the United States may be facing was as alarming as some of his other remarks were motivating.
