Adian Pedro, Khali Pedro

Funeral services for Elk City brother and sister Adian Pedro, 9 years old,  and Khali Pedro, 6,  will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Elk City.

An all-night wake service will be held tonight (Tuesday) in the Clinton Indian Community Building starting at 7 p.m.

Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Elk City under the direction of Kiesau- Lee Funeral Home of Clinton.

Adian and Khali were the children of Linn Pedro and Treva Dianne Edmundson of Elk City. They died Oct. 6, 2014, as the result of an automobile accident in Elk City.

Adian Joel LaQuint Pedro was born July 17, 2005, and Khali Ashleigh Jael Pedro was born April 26, 2008, both in Elk City to Joel Linn Pedro and Treva Dianne Edmundson. Adian died in Elk City and Khali about eight hours after her brother in Children’s Hospital at Oklahoma City.

Both spent their brief lives in Elk City. Adian was a third-grade student at Fairview Elementary School while Khali was a first-grader at Northeast Elementary School.

Adian liked playing videos and games and especially enjoyed the youth football program.  He was on the Blue Team.

Khali was a little princess who enjoyed playing dress-up, wearing high heel shoes and her tiara.

They are survived by their parents, Joel and Treva Pedro, one sister, Icesses Pedro, and their paternal grandmother, Erma Magpie, all of the home;  by their maternal grandmother, Sally Edmundson of Norman; by their aunts, Elizabeth Magpie, Trena Pickens, Ella Huddlen, Tammy Huddlen, Ciara Black, Amy Magpie, Lisa Maddox, Frances Daniels, Elaine Williams, Charmaine Bullay, Bonita Jones and LeTee Harper; by uncles Johnny Webster, Damian Edmundson, George Huddlen, DeVante Seira, David Magpie, Travis Huddlen and Clifton Neugent; and by numerous cousins.

Preceding them in death were their maternal grandfather, George Huddlen; one uncle, Vernon Huddlen; paternal great-grandparents Virginia Magpie and Willis Magpie;  and maternal great-grandparents Katie Edmunson and James “Doc” Edmundson.

Rev. Lindell Brown will officiate at the double funeral.
