Clinton plant not involved in Bar-S recall

Approximately 169 tons of Bar-S meat products are being recalled because of possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, the company announced Wednesday.
Five different products are on the recall list, three of them corn dogs and the other two franks. All were produced during the four-day period from July 10 through July 13.
“No illnesses have been reported in association with any of the recalled product,” said a company press release. It said the products are being recalled as a precautionary measure.
