Fatality Accident January 6, 2017

One person died and another was airlifted to an Oklahoma City hospital after the stolen vehicle they were in struck a tree near S. 6^th and Hayes in Clinton while being pursued by police around 3 p.m. Friday.

Clinton Police Chief David Crabtree said names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The accident is being investigated by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
