Redland braces for new future

After a long period of silence, the landmark Redland Theater on Frisco Avenue is once again making some noise. But instead of movie-goers and popcorn machines, this time it’s the sound of construction and renewal.
The theater has fallen into serious disrepair after many years of neglect, but a team of men are now spending their days cleaning it up. They’re also working on a partial demolition of the interior, because the new owners plan on transforming the building into a landmark of a different sort.
