Lydia Polly (Seigrist) Black-Lacy
Funeral services for Lydia Polly (Seigrist) Black-Lacy, 75, Clinton resident, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Church of God, officiated by Rev. Roy Dobbs.
Mrs. Lacy died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born Oct. 6, 1938, in Vian, the daughter of Curtle O. and Eleanor (Vaughn) Seigrist.
She was raised in Clinton and attended Clinton Schools. She married Bobby G. Black Sr. in 1955 in Clinton and worked in medical records with numerous home health care services.
But she was better known as the owner and operator of the 183 Quick Shop in Arapaho for more than 20 years.
She later married Bob Lacy on Aug. 25, 1984 in Oklahoma City.
In addition to both of her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Black; a grandson, Joe Don Lacy; a sister, Louise Radke; and a brother, Earl Seigrist.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Black and his wife, Paula, of Yukon, and Steve Black and his wife, Melanie, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two step-sons, Dan Lacy and his wife, Jan, and Joe Bill Lacy and his wife, Christy; two brothers, Milton Seigrist and his wife, Connie, of Liberal, Kan., and Charles Seigrist and his wife, Carol, of Kennesaw, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Lucy (Kreizenbeck) Seigrist, of Lawrence, Kan., and Chiquita (Jenkins) Seigrist, of Hollis; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution in Mrs. Lacy’s honor may do so to the Cal Farley Boys Ranch or the American Cancer Society.
By her request, there will be no visitation.
Burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
