Jesse Lee Isaac

Funeral services for Jesse Lee Isaac, 36, former Clinton resident, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Clinton Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Dale Nease.

Isaac died Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, in the Mercy Hospital emergency room at Ada. He was born Oct. 16, 1978 in Lincoln, Neb., the son of Dennis Ray Isaac Sr. and Dixie Lou (Abbott) Isaac.

Isaac’s early years were spent in Nebraska and California before the family moved to Oklahoma and settled in Clinton in 1989.

He attended Clinton schools and was a Red Tornado football player. He graduated in 1997.

Isaac received a scholarship to play football at Friendship University in Wichita, Kan. He returned to Clinton and worked at Bar-S. On June 16, 2000 he married Amber Diane Bownds in Clinton.

He soon became a correctional officer at Great Plains Correctional Center in Hinton as well as at the North Fork Correctional Facility in Sayre.

He also worked at the former Doane’s Pet Care, and his last position was with Newpark Drilling Co. in Clinton. He and his family had made their home in Allen.

He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Amber, and two daughters, Madison and Hannah, all of the home; a step-son, Grant Lee Barrtlett, of Oklahoma; his parents, Dennis Sr., and Dixie Isaac, of Clinton; a sister, Misty May Isaac

McKellips, and her husband, Brandon, of Elk City; a brother, Dennis Isaac Jr., of Clinton; a sister-in-law, Krystal Draudt, and her husband, Jim, of Ada; and four nieces and nephews, Bryce, Brock, Jocilyn Isaac and Dylann Ross.

Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
