Helen Naomi King

Graveside services for Helen Naomi King were held at Mount Hope Cemetery. She died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Cleburne, Texas.

She was born Aug. 10, 1912, the daughter of Nate and Naomi Burton.

She was married to Odell W King in 1935 and spent most of her life in and around Clinton.  She was well known in the area as a seamstress.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth King, and his wife, Wanda, of Woodward and Richard King, and his wife, Carolyn, of Joshua, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Rae Lynne King, of Clinton; seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Odell W. King; a son, Darrell King; a great grandchild, Jessica King; two sisters, Ha Moore and Grace Barber; and two brothers, Orville Burton and E.J. Burton.
