Terry Gene Schapansky
A memorial service for Terry Gene Schapansky, 54, Clinton resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Clinton’s Trinity Lutheran Church, officiated by Rev. Rob Spicer.
A private burial will be held at a later date in the Clinton Cemetery.
Schapansky died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at Integris Clinton Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1960 to Ray and Deloris (Ernst) Schapansky in Wichita, Kan.
Graduating from Clinton High School in 1979, Schapansky spent most of his working career at Calvin Stehr’s Body Shop and Scott Dotter’s Body Shop. He was also employed in the oil field and at Clinton Laundry (CTC).
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandmother, Ida Stehr; and paternal grandparents, Herman and Bonnie Schapansky.
Survivors include Renae and his daughters, Lucretia and Destiny, all of the home; step-sons, Kerney, Bruce and Steven; his parents, Ray and Deloris Schapansky, of Clinton; a sister, Debbie Meadows, and her husband, Rusty, of Elk City; a brother, Tony Schapansky, and his wife, Yoli, of Clinton; and five nieces and nephews, Chloee Schapansky and Chazz Schapansky, of Clinton and Alisha Meadows, Casey Meadows and Cody Meadows, all of Elk City.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
