Bill D. Howe

Funeral services for Bill D. Howe, 87, Clinton resident, will be at 12 noon Thursday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Gary Jones.

Howe died Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, in his Clinton home. He was born July 29, 1927 in Clinton, the son of Fred D. and Jennie Parrish Howe OK.

He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High school. He ultimately decided to explore Missouri and spent many years in the construction business in Kansas City. He returned to Oklahoma in the 1970’s and worked for the City of Clinton for many years.  He was married to Nellie Smith on June 9, 1972.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Nellie; brother, Charles “Bud” Howe; two sisters in-law; a brother in law; a niece; and a daughter, Marva Doyal.

Survivors include Kathy Howe and her son, Nathan Howe, both of Kansas City, Mo. and Danna Herrell, of Corn; sisters, Margerie “Sis” Stockton, of Clinton, Betty Bonny, Canton, Mary Lou “Tyke” Clift, and her husband, Don, of Butler; brothers, Olan Howe, and his wife, Phyllis, and Nolan Howe, all of Missouri; grandchildren, Bill Doyal, of North Carolina, Susan Cabaniss, of Clinton; great-grandchildren, Eric, Kasie, Amanda, Tashena, Ambrose, Amarea, Happy, Ryan, Lauren, Haley, Leo; and great-great-grandchildren, Makia and Kaisan, Evan, Morgan and Claire.

Burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery.
