Gaylon Kelly Old Crow

Funeral services for Gaylon Kelly Old Crow, 39, Weatherford resident, were set for 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) in the Indian Community Center east of Clinton (west of Lucky Star Casino), officiated by

Rev. Paul Bear Track, Gerald Panana, Delfred “Bunny” White Crow and Rev. Lawrence Hart.

A wake service was held Tuesday.

Gaylon Old Crow was born May 13, 1975 in Clinton, the son of John Old Crow, Jr. and Wilma Red Bird and died  Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, in his Weatherford home.

Old Crow was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1993. He moved to Weatherford in 2000 and had worked on different roofing crews including working for Tinsley’s Roofing in Weatherford.  He also served as a firefighter for the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

He was a member of the Koinonia Indian Mennonite Church east of Clinton.

Preceding him in death were his father; maternal grandparents, Bill Redbird and Irene Yellowhawk Goodbear; and paternal grandparents, John and Happy Calf Old Crow.

He is survived by his mother, Wilma Red Bird, of Weatherford, a son, Adeas Old Crow, of Weatherford; and two brothers, Joseph A. Dyer, of Weatherford and John Old Crow III, and his wife, Dianne, of McLoud.

Burial was set to follow in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
