Frances Eloise Johnson

Funeral services for Frances Eloise (Beutler) Johnson, 90, of Butler, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the First Baptist Church in Butler, with brother Terry Beals officiating.

Mrs. Johnson died Monday, March 9, 2015, at her Butler home. She was born Oct. 30, 1924 in Weatherford, the daughter of Denzil and Hazel (Schoepflin) Beutler.

She attended grade school at Lone Cottonwood in Custer County and graduated from Canute High School.

She worked at C.R. Anthony’s in Elk City until her marriage to Richard Earl Johnson on Dec. 9, 1945 in Elk City. They began farming in the Elk City area, and then in 1951, moved to the Butler community where they continued farming and ranching.

She was a member of the Butler Church of Christ.

Interment will be at the Butler Cemetery.

Survivors include her three children, Judy Walker, and her husband, Curt, Jan Parker, and her  husband, Johnny, and Rick Johnson, and his wife, Bev, all of Butler; eight grandchildren, Justin Parker, and his wife, Michelle, Lori Adams, and her husband, Greg, Jenae Rippetoe, and her husband, Chad, Jara Sealey, Dori Fansler, and her husband, Matt, Jerick Johnson, and his wife, Taylor, Tori Outhouse, and her husband, Jared, and Koby Johnson; 16 great-grandchildren, Cullen Parker, Bryson Parker, Peyton Parker, Harmony Hawthorn, Cannon Hawthorn, Conley Adams, Colten Adams, Jancy Rippetoe, Carter Rippetoe, Jax Sealey, Ansley Butler, Yukon Butler, Walker Fanlser, Jayden Outhouse, Rylen Outhouse and Tatum Outhouse; two sisters-in-law, Fay Graybill, of Canute, and Dorma Lee Johnson; and one brother-in-law, Donnie Johnson, and wife, Reba, of Elk City.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard Johnson; her parents, Denzil and Hazel Beutler; and a brother, Henry “Buddy” Beutler.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Butler EMS or the Butler Church of Christ.
