Joyce Ann Lister

Funeral services for Joyce Ann (Brown) Lister, 57, Clinton resident, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Bethany Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Billy Mucker.

Mrs. Lister died Friday, March 13, 2015, in the United Methodist Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 9, 1958 in Watonga, the daughter of Ike Jr. and Gloria (Thompson) Brown.

She was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1976. She married Robert Lister on Oct. 31, 1993 in Weatherford. She had worked in food service, including working at Carl’s Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011.

Mrs. Lister was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents; a young lady she raised as her own, Valerie Barker, of Clinton; sisters, Pam Hayley, and her husband, Otis, of Norman, Sharon Carter, and her husband, Mike, of Grand Prairie, Texas, Teresa Brown, of Clinton and Cynthia Brown, of Clinton; a brother, Sherman Brown, and his wife, Jean, of Clinton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
