Carmelita Vazquez

A Mass of Christian Burial for Carmellita Vasquez, 50, Clinton resident, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Thomas Pudota.

A Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

Ms. Vasquez died Friday, March 20, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born Aug. 1, 1964 to Juan Vasquez and Rosa (Silva) Vasquez in Clinton.

Ms. Vasquez was raised in Clinton where she attended school. She had been a homemaker most of her adult life.  She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her four sons, Mario Martinez, Miguel Martinez, Juan Martinez, and Adam Vasquez, and her mother, Rosa Vasquez; 12 brothers and sisters, Alfredo Cardenas Jr., Juan Cardenas, Rudy Vasquez, David Vasquez, Diana Vasquez, Joe Vasquez, Antonio Vasquez, Regina Martinez, Rosie Vasquez, Nick Vasquez, Jesus Vasquez, all of Clinton, and Mary Flores, of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren, Mateo Martinez, Ximena Martinez, Ariana Martinez, Anayeli Martinez and Adriyin Martinez.

Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
