Georgia Ann Jones

Funeral services for Georgia Ann (Terrell) Jones, 74, lifelong Clinton resident, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Cumberland Presby-
terian Church in Clinton, officiated by Rev. Dale Nease.  

Mrs. Jones died Thursday, April 23, 2015, in the Deaconess Hospital at Oklahoma City. She was born Aug. 27, 1940, to Harold E. and Rose (Koch) Terrell in Clinton.

She was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1958. She was soon married to Bruce Jones on June 20, 1958 in Wheeler, Texas, and she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a phone operator and with her husband with Dean Jones Construction Company.
She and Bruce were in the rental business for a number of years. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1992. She began working in security with Bar S Foods before medically retiring in 2008.

She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Preceding her in death were her dad; a sister, Ella Mae Terrell; a son-in-law, Shawn D’Cruz; and a nephew, Terry Jones.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Kay Szedeli, and her husband, Steve, of Clinton, and Delberta McCollum, and her husband, Duane, of Duncan; a son, Bruce Jones Jr., and his wife, Feleischia, of El Reno; her mother, Rose Terrell, of Clinton; a sister, Clara Lantz, of Clinton; a brother, Bucky Terrell, and his wife, Louise, of Azusa, Calif.; a brother-in-law,  Dale Jones, and his wife, Roberta, of Clinton; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will start at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home of Clinton.
