Annette Lois Whitetail Dobbins

Funeral services for Annette Lois Whitetail Dobbins, 55, Thomas resident, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bethany Brethren in Christ Church in Thomas with George Akeen, Paul Beartrack and Gerald Panana officiating.

The wake will be from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. today (Friday) in the Cheyenne and Arapaho Community Building in Clinton.

Mrs. Dobbins died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in Oklahoma City. She was born April 26, 1960, in Clinton, the daughter of Charles and Nellie Mae Whitetail (Drunkard).

She was raised in the Thomas area and graduated in 1978 from Thomas High School. She was married in February of 2009 to James Craig Dobbins. They made their home in Thomas.

Survivors include her husband, Craig, of the home; five daughters, Chana Penaloza, of Clinton, Nellie Littlecalf, of Elk City, Sarah Old Crow, of Yukon, Deidre “Mouse” Fraga, and Keesha Gubitz, both of Clinton; two sons, Chuck Whitetail and Tyree “O’ Man” Medicinechips, of Clinton; two sisters, Una Penn, of Oklahoma City, and Paula Whitetail Liston of Nowata; two brothers, David Penn, of El Reno, and Perkins “Perk” Whitetail, of Mayetta, Kan.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, Alice “Sweetheart” Whitetail; and two brothers, Fred “Cottontail” Whitetail, and Clifford “Cola” Penn.

Following the service, burial will be in the Mound Valley Cemetery at Thomas.
