Betty Munsey-Burrahm

A Viewing for Betty Munsey-Burrahm, 80, will be held 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
Betty died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, in her Clinton home.

She was born Jan. 11, 1935, to Fred and Pearl Jones of Clinton. She was raised in Clinton and attended Clinton Schools.  She was married to James Donald Munsey in 1954 in Clinton, and was later married to Walter G. Burrahm in Weatherford.  

She lived most of her life in Clinton.  She was employed at Norbest Turkey Plant, Collins and Aikman Factory, Kellwood Factory, Clinton Regional Hospital and Weatherford Retirement Center. She retired from rough necking in the oilfield in 1982. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, V.F. W. Auxiliary and Woodmen of the World.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; three children, Linda Munsey-Berk, Larry Munsey, and Renda Munsey Carrillo Solis; two brothers, Duke Fred Jones and Melvin Jones; and a sister, Tina Jones-Lindsey.

She is survived by four daughters, Donna Kay Munsey-Champagne and husband, Raymond, of Louisiana, Rita Munsey, of El Reno, Ronda Munsey and Betty Ruth Munsey, both of Clinton; a step daughter, Tera Hall, of South Carolina; and a step-son, John Holzhauer, of Virginia.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Nanette Champagne, Joshua Munsey, Brandon Munsey, Martha Aviles, Chrystal Hernandez, Shannon Kay Carrillosolis, Shona Munsey, Sonya Rosa-Perez, Shane Munsey, Bobby Cometsevah; 23 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  

A private burial will be held in the Arapaho Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
