Assaults, thefts mar weekend in Clinton
A woman who reported Saturday to the AllianceHealth Clinton Hospital was found to have a couple of fractured ribs and bruises elsewhere, including around her left eye, Detective Capt. Mike Murley of the Clinton Police Department said Monday.
The victim was Lacy Urbina, 32. Police subsequently arrested her husband, Thomas Urbina, 47, on suspicion of domestic assault and battery.
Police responded to a call at 5:06 p.m. Saturday to the hospital where Mrs. Urbina told them she and her husband had been driving around Friday when he began punching her in the ribs and face. Murley said she reported that he drove her to her father’s gravesite at the Clinton Cemetery where he dragged her out of the car and told her he was going to bury her there with her dad.
