Lahoma B. Webb
A funeral service for Lahoma B. Webb, 95, of Corn, was held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church in Hobart.
She died Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
Webb was born Nov. 15, 1920, to Japtha C. and Lula Belle (Cooper) Dean, in Lone Wolf. On Dec. 24, 1938, she married Ace Calhoun.
She was a charter member of W.S.C.S. Methodist Women, and a member of P.E.O. Chapter BV. Webb was a duplicate bridge player and traveled to many regional and national conventions, and obtained the rank of Silver Life Master. She was a pianist and organist for the Hobart Methodist Church for 27 years.
Webb is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Judy Custer and husband Bob, of Edmond, Sherry Boyles and husband John, of Clinton, and Darla McCormick and husband Bill, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Kristin Wallach and husband Allen, of Fort Worth, Texas, Adam Deem and wife Adrianne, of Fort Worth, Texas, Matthew Levy and wife Amy, of Richardson, Texas, Michael Levy and wife Shelly, of Richardson, Texas, and Megan McCormick, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and great-grandchildren Paige Wallach, A.J. and Audrey Kate Deem, Jonah and Maggie Levy, and Piper, Briggs and Emerson Levy.
The family suggests that any donations be made to the First United Methodist Church in Hobart, or the Hobart Public Library.
The service was officiated by Joel Thompson. Interment followed at Hobart Rose Cemetery.
