Suspect in 2007 murder waives hearing

Geronimo Garcia-Espinoza, suspected of viciously shooting to death another man in Clinton nine years ago, waived a preliminary hearing Monday on a charge of first-degree murder.
Garcia-Espinoza, who is also known as Jeronimo Garcia, was 35 when he allegedly chased the victim on foot across a vacant lot in the 300 block of N. 14th Street and then shot him numerous times on March 17, 2007.
The victim was Reza Antonio Colchado.
