Caleb Issac Thomas

Funeral services for Caleb Issac Thomas, 24, of Corn, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church, officiated by pastors Earl and Brenda Edwards.
Thomas died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in the Methodist Hospital at Houston, Texas following a lengthy medical battle. He was born Jan. 25, 1990, in Clinton, the son of Eugene and Debra (Olson) Thomas.
Raised in Corn, Thomas attended Washita Heights School and then transferred to Cordell High School, where he graduated in 2009.
He was active in music and band, receiving numerous awards and achievements.  He was also active and enjoyed speech.
Thomas was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cordell.
Survivors include his parents, Eugene and Debra Thomas, of the home; two sisters, Rebecca Hope Thomas, of the home, and Mary Juhree Jones, of Duncan; a brother, Joshua Michael Thomas, of the home; his maternal grandmother, Patsy Jenkins, of Appomattox, W. Va.; an uncle and aunt, David and Pam Friesen, of Yukon and uncle, Randy Olson, of Corn; and cousins, Bridgette Heinrichs, Jennifer Friesen and Dalton Olson.
Burial will be in the Corn Cemetery, under the direction of the Keisau-Lee Funeral Home, in Clinton.
