Clinton Soccer Stats Update (9 Games)

The streaks finally stopped for both Clinton teams at the Clinton Soccer Classic. The Reds (8-1) fell to 5A power Heritage Hall 4-2 in PKs, and the girls (8-1) couldn't stave off 6A Yukon 2-1 in the championship game.

Even though they finally suffered defeats for the first time this season, both teams made statements in the losses. Clinton's coaches thought both teams stepped up to the challenge against perceived stronger opponents on paper. At a combined 16-2 and 2-0 in district, all their goals are still attainable.
