City Charter Change Approved

Tuesday’s special election to amend the Clinton City Charter passed overwhelmingly by a 283-37 decision, 88.4 percent of voters in favor of the change and 11.6 percent against. The change will reflect residential requirements for individuals filing for mayor or city council.
