Bettie Jean (Garner) Hatfield

   Graveside services for Bettie Jean (Garner) Hatfield, 82, former Clinton resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hydro Masonic Cemetery Chapel, officiated by Patrick Peters.

   Mrs. Hatfield died Saturday, May 3, 2014, in the Summit Living Center in Okeene following a battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 27, 1932 in Burleson, Texas, the daughter of Wilbur Silas Garner and Mary Lou (Rothell) Garner.

   She married Lynn Jones on Dec. 24, 1949 in Roswell, N.M.

   She was a member of the First Christian Church.

   Preceding her in death were her parents, a granddaughter, a brother and a sister.

   Survivors include her three children, Deborah Ralston, of Okeene, Stanley Jones and his wife, Linda, of Wister, Beckie Thiessen and her husband, Tim, of  Canyon, Texas; six grandsons; five granddaughters; five great-grandsons; and nine great-granddaughters.

   Burial will follow under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
