Funeral services for Alvin Earl Chatman, 58, of Oklahoma City, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Bethany Baptist Church of Clinton, with Rev. Lawrence Smoots officiating.
Chatman was born Feb. 5, 1955, in Clinton, the son of Leroy and Irene (Woods) Chatman, and died unexpectedly on Dec. 27, 2013, in Clinton.
He grew up in Clinton and graduated from high school here.
Preceding him in death were his father, Leroy Chatman; and a brother, Lawrence.
He is survived by his mother of the Clinton home, two sisters Edna Chatman and Doris Narciss, and six brothers: Robert, Wilber, Larry, Gary, Clifford, and Leroy Jr.
Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of the Stanley-Lee Funeral Home, of Clinton.
