Arloene Joan (Littke) Dick

Funeral Services for Arloene Joan (Littke) Dick, 70, Clinton resident, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Clinton’s First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Roland Youngberg.
Mrs. Dick died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born June 17, 1943 in Clinton, the daughter of Adolph W. and Frieda (Intemann) Littke.
Mrs. Dick was raised in Bessie and attended Bessie Schools, as well as Clinton Schools where she graduated in 1961.
She soon married Gilbert Dick on Aug. 6, 1961 in Bessie, and she began a working career at the Saltzman Flower Shop and continued working there when it changed owners and became Flowers by Peggy.
She was the Clinton High School secretary and helped generations of students go through. She retired in 2008 after more than 30 years of service.
She was attending the First United Methodist and had been a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie for many years.
She was a past president of the Junior Service League and was involved in the Jaycee Jaynes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, A.J. Littke.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Dick of the home; two sons, Duane Dick and his wife, Debra, of Clinton, and Alan Dick and his wife, Sheila, of Tulsa; two sisters, Rayma Balzer and her husband, Jim, of Cordell and Nancy Sheppard, and her husband, Kermet, of Clinton; five grandchildren, Justin and his wife, Shayla, of Edmond, Savana, Caleb, Sierra and Caden, all of Tulsa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will conclude in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
