Bonnie Jean (Carter) Dudgeon

Funeral services for Bonnie Jean (Carter) Dudgeon, 59, Bessie resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Peace Lutheran Church at Bessie, officiated by Rev. Harold Goldman and Rod Spicer.

Mrs. Dudgeon died Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born June 28, 1955 in Stockton, Kan., the daughter of Curtis L. Carter and Vera Louise (Weter) Carter.

She was raised in the Bessie area and graduated from Cordell High School in 1973.

She married Cary John Dudgeon on Nov. 4, 1972 in Bessie. She had been in home health care and hospice work most of her adult life.

Mrs. Dudgeon was of the Lutheran faith.

Preceding her in death were her father; and a sister, Sherry Brock.

Survivors include her husband, John, of the home; two sons, Johnny Dudgeon, of Bessie and Jimmy Dudgeon, and his wife, Kim, of Burns Flat; her mother, Vera Carter, of Bessie; two brothers, Lawrence Carter and his wife,

Cathy of Cordell and Billy Carter, and his wife, Valerie, of Cordell; and six grandchildren, Curtis, Raven, Saber, Julianna, Carter and Bella.

Burial will conclude in the Union-Hatchet Cemetery, north of Bessie, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
