Carol Felch
Funeral services for Carol Felch, 69, of Clinton will be held at 10 a.m. today in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, in the AllianceHealth Clinton hospital.
Carol Sue Felch was born Dec. 31, 1948, to Archie Walker and Jewel (Teague) Walker in Clinton. She was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1967.
On April 14, 1968, she married David Felch in Burns Flat. The couple made their home in Clinton, where they have owned and operated Clinton Laundry and Cleaners for several years.
Felch was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading mysteries, loved to cook and bake, and her passion was being with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Bill Strickland; a brother, Loyd Smith; a son-in-law, John Thompson; a niece, Tamara Garrison; and an infant niece.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three daughters, Debbie Lehman and husband Bob, Liz Johnson and husband Scott, all of Clinton, and Aerin Thompson of Cordell; a son, Brian Felch of Clinton; a sister, Joy Smith of Clinton; and a sister-in-law, Pat Smith.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Kourtney, Dex, Carole, Ashlynn, Baylee, Bo, Katie, Allaesha, Jordan, Brianna; and two great-grandchildren, Kingsley and Brantlee.
The service will be officiated by Rev. Dale Nease and Rev. Lonnie Webb. Burial will conclude at Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
