David Brian McLain

Funeral services for David Brian McLain, 58, of Leedey, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Harvest Fellowship Church in New Herman Cemetery in Leedey. Pastor Mark Haney will officiate.

McLain died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at his residence in Leedey. He was born June 30, 1956 in Corona, Calif., the son of Edward and Jean-Marie (Pierce) McLain.

He met his childhood sweetheart, Lynn Louise Beck, in Vista, Calif. at Camp Pendleton and on March 26, 2002, they were married in Wheeler, Texas.

McLain was a member of the Harvest Fellowship Church in Leedey.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn McLain, of Leedey; two daughters, Courtney McLain and her husband, Marc, of Sacramento, Calif., and Emily Lynn McLain, of Vista, Calif.; one sister, Kay Doyle and her husband, Mike, of Spokane, Wash.; and one grandchild, Leah Marie.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward and Jean-Marie (Pierce) McLain; one brother, Michael; and one son, Robby Joe Burks.

Interment will be at Leedey Cemetery, under the direction of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City.

The family suggests memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Harvest Fellowship Church in care of the funeral home at 600 W. Country Club Blvd., Elk City, OK 73644.
