David Holcomb Jr.
Chapel services for David Glen Holcomb Jr., 52, of Weatherford will be held at 7 p.m. today in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel in Clinton.
He died unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, in the Weatherford Hospital emergency room.
David Glen Holcomb Jr. was born Dec. 17, 1965, to David Glen Holcomb Sr. and Juanita (Howe) Holcomb in Modesto, Calif. He was raised in Tacoma, Wash., and graduated from high school in 1984.
He moved to Modesto, Calif., and framed houses for several years before returning to Washington, where he worked as a trucker. He was a certified welder.
Holcomb moved to Oklahoma in 2014 and settled in Weatherford. He was employed with W&W Livestock in Thomas.
He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors includehis wife, Kathleen Scott, of the home; two sons, Bennie Bidwell and Michael Bidwell, both of Weatherford; and his father, of Port Charlotte, Fla.
Holcomb is also survived by three grandchildren, Austin, Joe and Nick.
The service will be officiated by Billy Upton and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
