Gloria Jean Burden

A private burial service for Gloria Jean Burden, 66, Clinton resident, is pending with Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Gloria Burden was born August 26, 1948 to Grady and Tishia (Murphy) Burden in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, OK.

Gloria was raised in Clinton, attended Clinton Schools and continued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.  She moved to Oklahoma City and was employed by the First National Bank as a bookkeeper.  Later, she became secretary for Norman Herschfield Investments.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two sisters, Georgia Helen Newcomb and husband, Carrol, of Amarillo, Texas, Glenda Billings of Chandler; three nephews, Jeffrey Newcomb and Kent Newcomb, of Amarillo, Texas and Daryl Billings, of Chandler; three nieces, Barbara Leathers of Canyon, Texas, Jan Ervin and Amanda Billings of Weatherford; and several great nieces and great nephews.
