Johnnie Lee Barnard
A memorial service for Johnnie Lee Barnard, 69, longtime Comanche resident, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Comanche First Baptist Church, with Bro. Eli Gardner officiating,
Barnard died Sunday evening, March 16, 2014, at Duncan. He was born Oct. 24, 1944 in Clinton, the son of William Jack and Bennie Jean (Snowder) Barnard.
He was a graduate of Butler High School. He and Eva Marie Susanne Wunderlich were married April 15, 1977 in Germany. They moved to Comanche in 1982, coming from Temple.
Barnard was a computer draftsman for many years.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Barnard, Comanche, Reanna Villarreal and her husband, Leo, Duncan, and Christina Bethel and her husband, Ron, Dallas, Texas; six brothers and sisters, Sue Ann Lawson and her husband, John, Ferndale, Wash., Darla Cleveland and her husband, Virgil, Elk City, Doris Tipton and her husband, Eddy, Elk City, James Barnard, Marlow, Bonnie Barnard, Elk City, and Brenda Trout, Edmond; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Eva.
Arrangements are under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
