Joseph Lynn Goin Sr.

Funeral services for Joseph Lynn Goin Sr., age 60, have been set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Oasis Church in Watonga with a wake service set for 7 p.m. today, (Tuesday) at the same church, with Monte Michaelson and Dwight McGee officiating.

Burial will be at the Clinton Cemetery.

Goin died Friday Jan. 2, 2015, in his home in Watonga. He was born Oct. 13, 1954, in Denton, Texas, the son of James Williams and Josephine (Hopper) Goin.

He was raised in Nacona, Texas, and attended Nacona Indian School where he graduated in 1973.

Goin proudly served in the United States Army and retired from the military in 1995 with 21 years of service to his country.

He married Miss Quannah B. Milligan on April 7, 2007 in Watonga.

Goin was a member of the Masons, VFW, American Legion and a lifetime member of the DAV.

Goin was the operations manager for the Lucky Star Casino in Watonga until he was too ill to work.

Preceding him in death were both parents, and his daughter, Kimberly Dawn Goin-Busch.

Survivors include his wife, Quannah, of the home; two daughters, Kathy Goin, of Cache, and Jordan Goin, of Yukon; three sons, Joseph Goin Jr., of Watonga, Randall Rivers, and his wife, Shaina, of Watonga, and Ryan Rivers and his wife Denisse, of Fort Sill; two godsons, Cy Young Walters, and Clinton Levi Walters; one  son-in-law, Alvin Busch, of Lawton; two mothers-in-law, Norene Milligan and Lynda Milligan, both of Clinton; five sisters, Linda Anderson, and her husband, Randall, of Sager, Texas, June Goin, of Denton, Texas, Ann Wilson and Keith Wilson, of Clinton, Nicole Tovar, of Clinton, and Anita Ford, of Muskogee; three brothers, Giles Goin,  of Valley View, Texas, James Goin III, of Denton Texas, and Douglas Milligan Jr., of Oklahoma City; one uncle, Buddy Goin, of Aubrey Texas; and nine grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, Clinton.
