Keith Marcy

 

Funeral services will be held for former Clinton businessman Keith Marcy, 66, at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First United Methodist Church.
He died Monday, April 23, 2018, in his Clinton home.
Keith “Ace” Eugene Marcy was born May 19, 1951, to Fred Eugene Marcy and Lenore (Thompson) Marcy in Alva. He came to Clinton at the age of six months when his father purchased a wholesale beer distributorship. He attended Clinton Public Schools and graduated in 1969. He furthered his education at the University of Oklahoma and Southwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1973. 
Following his college graduation he joined his father at Marcy Distributing Company, which he later purchased with his brother, Randy. Together they owned and operated the business more than 25 years, until 2006 when they sold it and retired. 
Marcy married Michale Farrell Howe in 1996. They made their home in Clinton until 2004 and then purchased a condo near St. Augustine, Fla. It became their permanent residence, although they still kept their Clinton home. 
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was active in business and civic organizations. He served on the boards of the Oklahoma Malt Beverage Association, Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Clinton Jaycees, United Fund Drive, City of Clinton Planning and Zoning Board and Board of Adjustments, and the Clinton Regional Hospital Governing Board.
Marcy was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; and his first wife. 
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Brandii Goossen and grandchildren Devin Ring and Shelbi Goossen; two brothers, Lynn Marcy and wife Lynn of Ringgold, Ga., and Randy Marcy and wife Kim of Norman; a sister-in-law, Ann Marcy of Clinton; his first wife’s children, Danny Nunley and wife Tina of Mooreland and grandchildren, Jonathan Nunely and Tamra Fields; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will greet guests from 6-8 p.m. today in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
The service will be officiated by Doyle Kinney and Pastor Rick Robart. Burial will follow at Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
