Marjorie Faye Howe Sights
Funeral services for Marjorie Faye Howe Sights, 92, of Clinton will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, officiated by Rev. Dale Nease.
Mrs. Sights died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at home.
She was born Aug. 15, 1922, in Stillwater, the daughter of Fred and Jennie (Parrish) Howe.
She attended Red Rock School eight years and graduated from Clinton High School in 1941.
As part of the “Greatest Generation,” she worked in an airplane factory during World War II.
In June of 1946, Marjorie and Alva Sights married in Wheeler, Texas.
They moved to a farm west of Clinton where Mrs. Sights worked the dairy and helped manage the cattle operation and care for their horses.
Mrs. Sights was preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant brother; two other brothers, Bill Howe, and Charles “Bud” Howe; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and one niece.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Lau, and her husband, Danny, of Clinton; two brothers, Olan Howe, and wife Phyllis, of Neosho, Mo., and Nolan Howe, of Granby, Mo.; two sisters, Betty Bonny, of Canton, and Mary Lou Clift, and her husband, Don, of Butler; grandchildren, Matthew Lau, and his wife, Andi, of Oklahoma City, and Laura Yokley, and her husband, Brad, of Owasso; and three great-grandchildren, Leah Lau and Makenna and Sarah Yokley.
Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery.
