Martha Evangelina Gonzalez

A Mass of Christian Burial for Martha Evangelina Gonzalez, 72, of Clinton, is scheduled for 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Thomas Pudota.
Ms. Gonzalez died Monday, Nov, 18, 2013, in the Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born June 24, 1941, in Chihuahua, Mexico, the daughter of Castulo and Jovita (Escudero) Gonzalez.
Ms. Gonzalez was raised and received her schooling in Creel, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was married to Juan Gonzalez in Mexico.  She had been a resident of the United States for the past 14 years.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Guillermo Gonzalez; and two granddaughters, Dorian Rojo and Ana Karen Ayala.
Survivors include four daughters, Cindy Janet Gonzalez, of Clinton, Laura Patricia Gonzalez, of Las Vegas, N.M., Yolanda Gonzalez and Jovita Gonzalez, both of Mexico; two sons, Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Clinton, and Oscar I. Gonzalez, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Blanca Velia Gonzalez, of Veracruz, Mexico, and Elvira Armenta, Clinton; and seven grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery under direction of the Stanley-Lee Funeral Home, Clinton.
