Martha Lou (Aldridge) Copeland
A graveside service for Martha Lou (Aldridge) Copeland, 59, former Clinton resident, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Waukomis city cemetery.
Mrs. Copeland died Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in Oklahoma City. She was born Feb. 13, 1955 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Raymond J. and Addie Belle (Collins) Aldridge.
Mrs. Copeland’s family worked in the oilfield, and she moved all over Oklahoma and attended several schools, graduating from Cherokee High School in 1973.
She had been employed in nursing homes and was employed as a clerk in a gas station until she retired.
She married Michael “Spanky” Copeland on Dec. 31, 2001. They have made their homes in Clinton and Burns Flat.
Survivors include her husband, Michael “Spanky” Copeland, of the Burns Flat home; a daughter, Robin Lambert and her husband, Kevin, of Enid; three sons, Corey Gregg and Tiffany Beal, of Burns Flat, and Shane Gregg and his family, of Lindsay, Richard Gregg and his wife, Valenda, of Enid; a brother, Jay Aldridge, of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren, Trevor, Abbey, Tabitha, Brayson, Karli, David, Alexis, Robbie, Carol, and Brenda; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will greet guests from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Friday) at the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.
