Mary Jane McKinsey
Private graveside services are planned for Mary Jane McKinsey, 77, life-long Clinton resident, in honor of her wishes.
Mrs. McKinsey died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, following a long battle with cancer.
Mary Jane Breashears was born in Waynoka on Dec. 26, 1937 but grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School before attending the University of Oklahoma.
She settled in Clinton after she and Joseph Victor “Vic” McKinsey married on June 16, 1959.
The couple operated numerous businesses. She made her passion of antiques a business by owning and operating the Antique Mall of Clinton until its closing.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Vic McKinsey; their four children, Tara (T.J,) McKinsey, of Eureka Springs, Ark., Melody McKinsey, of Pauls Valley, Marsha Napoliello and her husband, Jeff, who live in Oklahoma City with their two children, Nicholas and Isabella, and Jay McKinsey and his wife, Angie, who live in Edmond with their two children, Blaine and Jack; and a sister, Rozann Powell, and her husband, Eddie, of Richardson, Texas.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Cleo Blaine Breashears and Ruby (Alexander) Breashears.
The family suggests that donations in honor of Mrs. McKinsey be made to either the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, First United Methodist Church of Clinton or a charity of the donor’s choice.
