Melvin Ray Bishop

Memorial services for Melvin Ray Bishop, 67, Oklahoma City resident who lived in Clinton for nine years, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford.

The service will be officiated by Rev. Gerald Lunsford.

A retired heavy equipment operator, Bishop had six children.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Bishop along with his children, Tammy Willms, Helen Bell, Nancy Bishop, Brend Dahn, Cari Simon and Melvin Daniel Bishop and 15 grandchildren.

Also surviving is one sister while two sisters and a brother are deceased

Preceding him in death were his parents, James William and Jessie May Bishop.
