Peggy Jo Pollet

   A memorial service for Peggy Jo Pollet, 89, Clinton resident, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Clinton First Presbyterian Church, officiated by Pastor Carol Waters.

   Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, in Weatherford.

   Miss Pollet died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, in the United Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton. She was born March 12, 1924 in Clinton, the daughter of Guy Oliver Pollet and Dorsey Ann (Justus) Pollet.

   She was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1941.

   Miss Pollet was employed as a drug clerk at Ross Drug for 30 years and Larry’s Medicine Chest for 23 years.

   She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church since 1954 and a longtime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

   Survivors include a nephew, Floyd Ray Pollet and his wife, Karen, of Enid; two nieces, Vickie Adams and her daughter, Sheila Crawford, Clinton, and Gailene Shurley and her husband, Ron, of Mannford; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

   Arrangements are under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, in Clinton.
